Return & Exchange Policy

At The Ethnic Tones, every piece is thoughtfully curated to bring you the finest in heritage craft — from the breezy elegance of Kota Doria to the timeless grandeur of Banarasi weaves. We want you to love what you receive, and we're here to make your experience seamless.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept return requests within 2 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

Product must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging
Unboxing video is mandatory as proof for damaged/defective product claims
All original tags and packaging are intact
The item is accompanied by the original invoice or order confirmation

What Can Be Returned or Exchanged

Items received in a damaged or defective condition
Items that are incorrect (wrong product or color sent)
Exchange is possible only for a different color, subject to availability. Each suit is carefully curated and most pieces are single-piece exclusive designs, therefore exchange is not available.

What Cannot Be Returned

Unstitched fabric sets that have been cut, stitched, or washed
Sale or discounted items
Items without original tags or packaging
Items returned after the 2-day window
Color variation due to screen display
Minor thread variations (common in ethnic wear)

A Note on Handcrafted Textiles

Our Kota Doria and Banarasi fabrics are handwoven by skilled artisans. Natural variations in weave, texture, and color are an inherent part of the handcrafting process and are not considered defects. We encourage you to embrace these as marks of authenticity.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Email us at theethnictones@gmail.com within 2 days of delivery
Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item. Please note unboxing video is mandatory.
Our team will respond within 2 business days with next steps
Once the item is received and inspected, your exchange or refund will be processed
